A big thank you to the talented Sanne Dijkstra-Downie who provided some very talented second shooting for me at Carrie and George's wedding back in April. It was my first time shooting a wedding with another photographer and it was definitely twice the fun - and twice the number of images. Whilst I was busy with the main shots, Sanne had time to capture some of these beautiful details - the kind of details that look fantastic in an album. She has a wonderful, creative eye. Tweeting in wonder

Just as a little aside, I have recently been exploring the marvellous world of twitter and all that it has to offer. For those who aren't already hooked on this particular social networking phenomonen, the best way I can describe it is as virtual curtain twitching: little glimpses other world and tit bits of information.

A quick search on twitter revealing some of the truly excellent photography being produced by Edinburgh students at Stevenson College, who have grabbed several of the top slots in the recent BIPP Scotland award territories. Images like Jo Wolak's Mary and Jesus are breaking new ground - it will be interesting to see where the future takes them!
