The Mancunian sun miraculously chose to put his hat on on Friday, in celebration of Gilly and Sam's wedding. The wedding took place in the heart of Manchester, giving us the opportunity to play around with photographs in the victorian splendour of Albert Square. Gilly literally sparkled in the beautiful handknitted aquamarine shawl she crafted herself, whilst Sam dazzled in the most stylish pair of shoes to have set foot on Manchester's streets in a long time. The wedding was relaxed stylish, and thoroughly them and it was a pleasure to celebrate with them and to wish them well as they step forth into marital bliss!
A few more favourites from Gary and Susan's wedding last Saturday - Pollokshields Burgh Hall has beautiful richly coloured stonework and wood panelling. The colours add a wonderful vibrancy to wedding images and provide a beautiful setting for bridal portraiture - as seen in these lovely portraits of Susan. The colours Susan and Gary chose for the details of their wedding echoed the richness of the venue, giving a welcoming warm glow to the winter wedding. Gary and Susan have kindly given me permission to use their images in my portfolio set at Cocoa Rose Boutique Weddings.
Huge congratulations to Gary and Susan, who were married today at Pollokshields Burgh Hall, Glasgow. The sun defeated the weather sceptics and insisted on shining on a beautiful crisp February day, and the bride and groom were the smiliest I have ever seen! A sneak peak of the images follow, with more coming soon at the Cocoa Rose Boutique Weddings website.
